HW30504003 - Tunalyzer Engine Tester - Hobbywing

Get meaningful, precise results with 12 predefined test parameters. Measurement is supported by the integrated voltage regulator, among other things, which ensures that comparable results are always obtained with the same voltage. If you want to check your motors with the Tunalyzer, you don't have to worry about compatibility. After all, motors up to 60 poles are supported without any problems. And it doesn't matter whether the motor has a sensor or not, or whether it's with or without carbon.
Plus: the measured speed is displayed in real time. But not only motors can be tested here. Controllers and servos can also be connected and tested with the Tunalyzer via the PWM connection.

HOBBYWING TUNALYZER MOTOR TESTER FEATURES

Here's how a brushless motor tester works:

  1. Power supply: The tester is powered by an external power source, usually a battery or stabilized power supply. This provides the current needed to power the motor.

  2. Motor connection: The brushless motor is connected to the tester via the three cables that link the motor phases to the tester's integrated electronic speed controller (ESC) outputs.

  3. Configuration: Some testers require prior configuration, such as selecting the number of motor poles, the type of controller, or other motor-specific parameters. This step optimizes the measurements and tests performed by the unit.

  4. ESC control: The tester sends control signals to the ESC to vary motor speed. This allows you to test the motor's response at different speeds, and check that it is operating correctly.

  5. Performance measurement: The tester measures various motor parameters, such as rotation speed (RPM), current consumption, voltage and power. This data is used to evaluate the motor's performance and ensure that it is operating correctly.

  6. Display of results: Test results are usually displayed on an LCD or digital screen, enabling the user to view the data in real time and compare motor performance with the manufacturer's specifications.

By using a brushless motor tester, you can detect performance problems, diagnose potential faults and check that the motor is working properly before installing it in an application.
